How the 10th edition differs from the 9th Edition:
- Updated information in Chapter 2 on the nature of nonprofit organizations.
- A new chapter (Chapter 3) on "Analyzing a Nonprofits Financial Status." (Includes an appendix on determining an appropriate surplus for a nonprofit organization
- New and/or updated examples in most chapters.
Case Information:
- Instructors may order cases from any of several curriculum centers, or use their own cases. They can tailor their case packets to fit their course length, sector focus, desired level of difficulty, and general pedagogical aims.
- Instructors who adopt the 10th Edition for a course, may obtain cases from the Crimson Press Curriculum Center at no charge (compared to the Center's normal copyright clearance fee of $4.25 per case per enrolled student for academic users and $8.20 for nonacademic users). The Curriculum Center has a total of some 300 cases.
- Cases ordered from The Crimson Press Curriculum Center are sent to the instructor as an E-Packet — a PDF file that can be uploaded to a course Web site or printed out as hard copy.
- The ordering process is easy. If you know which cases you wish to use, just send the list to the Curriculum Center at CrimsonCenter@TheCrimsonGroup.org, along with your university or school name, course number and name, instructor name, and semester and year. The Center's staff will do the rest.
- If you wish to examine available cases, go to www.TheCrimsonGroup.org and click on Curriculum Center. There, you may select your cases and place your order.
- Delivery of an E-Packet is quick. Average turnaround time from order to receipt is three business days.
- By posting the E-Packet on his or her course Web site, an instructor avoids the expense and delay (and lead time!) associated with using a copy center or bookstore.
